Ashanti Shequoiya Doug, often known as Ashanti was born on October 13 of 1980, on the 13th of October, 1980 in Glen Cove New York United States. She is an American singer-songwriter and actor. Ashanti was a teenager actor and singer in the US, was signed by Murder Inc. Records to release her debut album in 2002. The same year she also was featured in Fat Joe's What's Luv? track and Ja Rule's Always on Time track both of which were huge hits. The first female artist to hold first and second spots within the Billboard Hot 100 list in the United States with Foolish at first place and Luv? at number two. Luv? She became the first female artist to have both of the top two spots on American Billboard Hot 100 With Foolish as number one and What's Love? We can celebrate this special day with us.
